The Oti Regional Minister, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons Daniel Machator (Rtd), has urged the residents of the Oti Region to critically assess their lives and the development progress in their communities, and to renew the mandate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government on December 7.
Speaking at a community gathering in Gyamonome, a farming community in the Kadjebi District, ASP Machator emphasized the substantial development projects the NPP government has implemented in the region. He highlighted that continued support for a party that has shown little regard for the region’s development and personal well-being is not in the residents’ best interests.
The NPP government has carried out massive development projects in the region. It’s time to rethink your choices and support a party that genuinely cares about your community’s progress
He lauded the transformative impact of the Free Senior High School policy introduced by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration, which has positively affected countless families across the nation. He urged registered voters to vote for the NPP to ensure the continuation of such beneficial policies.
Additionally, ASP Machator informed the gathering about the government’s procurement of new equipment, including a loader, grader, and truck, for distribution to all 216 metropolitan, municipal, and district assemblies in the country. These machines will be used for road and other developmental projects.
To ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of these machines, we have recruited and sent two individuals to China for specialized training. Soon, the assemblies in our region will receive their equipment
ASP Machator’s appeal comes in light of the Oti Region being the only region in the country to secure all parliamentary seats for the NDC during the 2020 elections. He emphasized the need for change and encouraged the residents to vote for the NPP to bring genuine development to their region.
Reflect on the past 32 years under the NDC and consider the progress you’ve seen. It’s time to choose a brighter future with the NPP
