GHANA BEYOND GOLD IDEA BY DR. BAWUMIA WILL STABILIZE THE CEDI AND CREATE JOBS – RICHARD AHIAGBAH

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has unveiled his vision to propel Ghana beyond its reliance on cocoa and gold, aiming to bolster the economy.

This pledge is a cornerstone of his campaign for the presidency, urging Ghanaians to support him in the upcoming December 7, 2024, general elections.

Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the NPP, has endorsed this vision as a strategy to build upon the One District, One Factory (1D1F) industrialization policy. He emphasizes that this approach will diversify and strengthen Ghana’s economic capacity.

Ahiagbah also highlights the potential benefits of this vision, including job creation for the youth and a more stable cedi through increased export revenues. In a statement on his X platform, Ahiagbah reiterated Dr. Bawumia’s proposal for “Ghana beyond cocoa and gold,” positioning it as a roadmap to enhance Ghana’s economic productivity.

Bawumia proposes Ghana beyond cocoa and gold. It is a vision to build on the unfolding 1D1F industrialization policy to diversify and enhance the productive capacity of Ghana’s economy.
It will deliver jobs for the youth and a stable cedi through increased export earnings. What is the NDC’s alternative? Please don’t tell me it’s anything with ’24’ in it because that one is a vote-seeking gimmick. Forward with Bawumia!

The NPP’s message is clear: they advocate for an economic transformation under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, aiming to diversify Ghana’s economic base, create jobs, and strengthen the national currency through expanded exports.
