GHANAIANS WILL BIEW DR. BAWUMIA AND NAPO AS JUSTIFIED AND EXEMPLARY LEADERS – ASEBU CHIEF

Okatakyie Prof. Amanfi VII, the paramount Chief of the Asebu Traditional Area in the Central Region, has expressed his approval of the New Patriotic Party for nominating two capable candidates, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, for the party’s 2024 presidential ticket.

He characterized this ticket as an “ideal ticket” for Ghana. The Chief, who also serves as a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), emphasized that both Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh are diligent and results-driven leaders with a strong commitment to the nation’s development. He conveyed his confidence in the abilities of these two leaders.

we all know the good works and laudable achievements of Dr. Bawumia as Vice President. We also know the good works of NAPO as Minister of State in this government. I have full confidence in them and can say without doubt that if Ghanaians repose their trust in these two great men, we will never regret.

The paramount Chief expressed these remarks on Friday, September 6, 2024, during a courtesy visit from the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly referred to as NAPO, along with his elders at the Chief’s palace.

As part of his campaign tour in the Central Region, NAPO was joined by Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Chairman Danquah Smith Buttey, Hon. Egyapa Mercer, and Henry Nana Boakye.

During his visit, the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate engaged with constituents in the Assin North, Assin Central, and Abura Asebu Kwamankese constituencies.

In discussing the initiatives undertaken by the NPP, which encompass various infrastructure projects and the flagship program “Free SHS,” NAPO reassured the Chiefs and constituents that the forthcoming NPP administration, under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia, would prioritize the continuation and completion of all ongoing projects.

He urged strong support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the party’s parliamentary candidates, including Charles Opoku for Assin North, Godfred Nti Anawu for Assin Central, and Kobin Eric Nyanteh for Asebu Kwamankese.
