GHANAIANS WILL SURELY SWEAR IN DR. BAWUMIA AS THE FIRST MUSLIM PRESIDENT – SAMIRA BAWUMIA

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s wife, Samira Bawumia, has expressed her confidence that her husband will be sworn in as Ghana’s first “Muslim” president on January 7, 2025.

She predicted that the achievement of Dr. Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, would mark a critical turning point in the nation’s political history.

The NPP selected his spouse as its flagbearer, according to Samira Bawumia, because of his honesty, humility, diligence, and track record. She emphasized that “Alhaji Dr. Bawumia is ready to serve the nation in integrity and humility with all that he has.”

As the 2024 election gained steam, the Second Lady made these remarks to the chiefs and people of Wenchi during a massive rally during her campaign visit to the Bono Region to solicit votes for the Vice President.

Hajia Bawumia emphasized that she had hope and confidence that her husband could turn the nation’s fortunes around if given the go-ahead in the upcoming elections. She said that the selection of Alhaji Dr. Bawumia as a presidential candidate defeated the false perception that the NPP was an Akan-based political party.

She urged the electorate to support the NPP, pointing out that the party cared about the well-being of Muslims in general and the holistic development of Muslim communities, especially among the Zongo populations.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is enthusiastic about empowering women and youth, according to Samira Bawumia, who added that more chances and government employment would be established for them under his leadership.

Kwame Baffo, the NPP’s Bono Regional Chairman, and Justina Owusu-Banahene, the Bono Regional Minister, escorted the Second Lady.
