HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A SADA PROJECT IN NAVRONGO? – DR. BAWUMIA

The vice president and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, addressed the people of Navrongo with a critical message about Mahama’s administration’s promises and performance.

Speaking to the people of Navrongo on Monday, 29 July, during his constituency-focused tour, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the stark contrast between the promises made by former President Mahama and the actual outcomes.

Dr. Bawumia underscored the failure of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) initiative, questioning the effectiveness of the funds spent under Mahama’s administration.

We all saw former President Mahama in action. He promised development through the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA). Have you ever seen a SADA project in Navrongo? Have you ever seen a SADA project in the Upper East region? There is no SADA project in any of the five northern regions. He spent hundreds of millions of dollars. No project, not even a toilet. But today, he says he wants to come back. Do you want him to come back?

After highlighting the absence of tangible development, Dr. Bawumia shifted focus to the specific failures during Mahama’s tenure. He narrated the infamous mismanagement of resources, emphasizing the lack of progress in infrastructure.

We don’t want guinea fowls flying to Burkina Faso again. Eight years under the NDC, and not one road completed in the Upper East region. Do you want him to come back?

Dr. Bawumia continued, driving home the point that the NDC’s track record was marred by inefficiency and unmet promises. His message resonated with the audience, highlighting the need for genuine development and progress. He urged the people of Navrongo to consider the past performance and look forward to a future under the NPP.
