The Vice President and the Presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has conveyed to the youth of Ghana that his primary objective in pursuing the presidency is to bring about a transformation in the nation.
During an address to the youth nationwide on Sunday, November 3, 2024, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of revitalizing the country to ensure it becomes a desirable place for young Ghanaians to live and work.
He expressed concern over the ongoing migration of Ghanaians to various European nations in search of better opportunities, highlighting the tragic loss of lives that sometimes occurs during these perilous journeys.
Speaking from the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra, Dr. Bawumia identified three critical areas essential for Ghana’s transformation: education, skills development, and job creation.
Furthermore, he asserted that by equipping the youth with a solid education and the necessary skills for the job market, they would be better positioned for employment or, ideally, to embark on entrepreneurial ventures.
In my conversation with you today, I will tell you about the business friendly environment that my government, Insha Allah, will generate to make it all possible. I will outline the bold economic solutions that we plan to roll out to make it all possible.
