The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has conveyed his contentment and relief regarding the advancements of his campaign while addressing supporters in the Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency of the Central Region.
Dr. Bawumia introduced his “Bold Solutions” policies to an enthusiastic audience, who gathered in significant numbers to listen to his address.
His visit commenced at the palace of Otumfour Amoah Sasraku II, the Paramount Chief of the Twifo Hemang Traditional Council. In his address to the chief and the elders, Dr. Bawumia reiterated his dedication to the “Better Ghana Agenda” and expressed his solidarity with the traditional authorities.
Otumfour Amoah Sasraku II, clearly pleased with the visit, assured Dr. Bawumia of his community’s support for his presidential ambitions, recognizing the beneficial contributions of the NPP government to the region. During this visit, Dr. Bawumia also interacted with various stakeholders, including religious leaders, assembly members, educators, farmers, and artisans.
He took the opportunity to elaborate on his policies and their intended impact on improving the living conditions of Ghanaians. His engagement with these essential groups highlighted his commitment to addressing the concerns of all citizens.
The tour proceeded to Jukwa, the capital of Denkyira, where he received a warm welcome from a large assembly of NPP supporters and traditional leaders, including Nana Ama Saara Ayensua III, the Queen Mother of the Denkyira Traditional Council. Nana Ama Saara Ayensua III commended Dr. Bawumia for his humility and dedication throughout his campaign, assuring him of her people’s prayers and support.
In addressing the substantial gathering at Jukwa, Dr. Bawumia articulated his vision for a better Ghana, urging the populace to back him and the NPP in securing victory in the forthcoming elections.
He underscored the importance of hard work and unity as the party prepares for the election, while also commending the parliamentary candidate, Mr. Lawrence Agyinsam, for his capabilities and encouraging the constituents to rally behind him.
The occasion was characterized by an atmosphere of hope and enthusiasm, as Dr. Bawumia urged his supporters to stay committed to achieving success for both the party and the nation.
He was joined by prominent figures, such as the Central Regional Minister, Mrs. Marigold Assan, the parliamentary candidate Lawrence Agyinsam, the current Member of Parliament Lawyer Bright Wireko Brobby, District Chief Executive Nana Kwaku Abban, along with other regional and constituency leaders.
