‘I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND’: YOUNG MAN MOVED BY BAWUMIA’S INSPIRING VISIT TO JIRAPA

A young man’s encounter with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during the presidential aspirant’s door-to-door campaign in Jirapa has left a lasting impression and swayed his political allegiance.

Dr. Bawumia, who has been touring the Upper West Region, made a memorable stop to interact with locals, including the young man who was eager to meet him. In a heartfelt moment, Bawumia offered a warm hug to the young man, making him emotional and profoundly impacting him.

The vice president also took time to take photos with the young man, who cherished the opportunity to capture a moment that would stay with him forever. Overwhelmed by Dr. Bawumia’s kindness and approachability, the young man confessed that he had changed his mind and now believed in the ‘It Is Possible’ campaign of the NPP.

This is my first time meeting this man, and I like you. It is possible. Today, I will sleep like I’m in Heaven. I was negative, but now it has become positive

Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour in Jirapa also included a pointed response to former President John Mahama’s claims that the NPP would not elect a Northerner as its flagbearer. Dr. Bawumia highlighted his journey and the significance of his election as the NPP’s leader.

When I decided to contest for the flagbearership of the NPP, many people said it was not possible. They said it wouldn’t happen. They said the NPP would never elect a Northerner to be the leader. But I told them if God says it is possible, it will be possible

He emphasized that his election challenges Mahama’s previous assertions and called on the North to support his candidacy in the upcoming election.

You will recall that some time ago, former President Mahama said that if the NPP wants the North to vote for them, they should elect Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Today, the NPP has elected Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, so the North, it is now time to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

This inspiring encounter and Dr. Bawumia’s powerful message of possibility are resonating with many, fueling hope and belief in his vision for Ghana’s future.
