I HAVE CONTRIBUTED MORE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NORTH THAN JOHN MAHAMA DID DURING HIS TIME AS VICE PRESIDENT – DR. BAWUMIA

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has presented a strong argument for why the people in the Northern region should choose him as the President of the Republic of Ghana instead of his main rival, John Dramani Mahama.

During a visit to the paramount chief of Chereponi in the North East region, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that despite not having held the position of president previously, unlike Mr. John Mahama, he has played a significant role in bringing about development in the northern part of the country.

He highlighted various sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, energy, and others that have all seen progress under the current government and are evident to any doubters.

As you know, per the constitution of Ghana, all the powers are vested in the president.  I am Vice President. I have not been President before unlike John Mahama but I have assisted in bringing more development to Chereponi and the north than Mahama. It is therefore in the interest of the region to elect me as the president and not Mahama.

Vice President Bawumia has assured his dedication to advancing the welfare of the people in the Northern region. He has expressed his determination to fulfill the requests presented to him.

Notably, he has confirmed the approval of the rural electrification project, which will soon commence, and the finalization of plans for the nursing training school by the year’s end.

He emphasized that the progress of the North and the nation at large is his utmost priority. With the collective support of all Ghanaians, he is committed to providing rapid, comprehensive, and transformative leadership.

During the second day of his constituency-focused campaign in the North East Region, Dr. Bawumia is scheduled to visit the Chereponi, Saboba, and Mion Constituencies on Thursday.
