Alexander King Doku, the Head Pastor of the Pursuit of God Ministries, has publicly expressed his endorsement for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the next President of Ghana, emphasizing his belief in the Vice President’s vision for the country.
While addressing students at the University of Ghana on Saturday, November 16, 2024, during a discussion on “Dr. Bawumia and the Modern Vice Presidency,” authored by Communications Consultant Prof. Etse Sikanku, Pastor Doku stated that, as a development activist, he has chosen to support Bawumia due to his conviction that the latter’s vision will ensure the nation’s progress.
The intersection of faith, leadership, and civic responsibility was a recurring theme in Doku’s address, reinforcing the idea that spiritual leaders have a vital role to play in shaping the moral and ethical direction of the nation.
I recall an MP sending me a message, asking, ‘Pastor, are you now a politician?’ I replied, ‘No, I’m an advocate for development, and I believe in Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana…He’s a man of conviction, and everyone has the power to choose. I’ve chosen Dr. Bawumia to be my President for the sake of my future and my children’s.
Through this book, my brother has written and the verifiable facts, I’m pointing out that Bawumia is the better option for Ghana than any other candidate…He’s a man of compassion, dignity, humility, creativity and vision. So, I encourage you, when it’s time to cast your vote, don’t waste it. Vote for Bawumia; he’s the leader Ghana needs.
Not everyone can be a transformational leader but Dr. Bawumia has that quality. Transformational leadership brings drastic change, something that’s never happened before. I see Dr. Bawumia having the transformational leadership skills to make drastic changes in Ghana.
