Vice President and Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bawumia has wished the LEADing Justice initiative by the Chief Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo, luck and hopes it reawakens the spirit of the judicial system.
According to Dr. Bawumia, the initiative will set in motion competence, prowess, proficiency and honor within the judicial system and reawakens the spirit of good judgement and the fight for justice.
He mentioned that it is his greatest wish that this initiative will transform the Judiciary system and aid them in carrying their duties and serving the good people of Ghana with proficiency and honor, operating within the ethical and legal framework of the Judicial system.
It is my hope that the LEADing Initiatives will herald a new dawn in the history of our Judicial System, propelled by efficiency, excellence, knowledge, and integrity.
Dr. Bawumia mentioned that, the government will keep putting mechanisms in place to aid in developing and transforming the Judicial system. He also also charged other interested parties to aid in the rapid change within the Judicial system by assisting the Chief Justice.
I assured the Chief Justice of government’s continuous commitment to supporting the Judiciary, and I also urged other stakeholders to support the Chief Justice, in her quest for continuous transformation of the Judicial system.
Speaking about digitalization, he emphasize on how it play a crucial role in developing the nation. Dr. Bawumia’s digitalization policies are tailored to tackle the major issues in the country, and to transform and develop the country by ensuring economic develop and growth, stability, progress, accountability, transparency and the elimination of corruption.
