The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged the residents of Walewale to support his candidacy in the upcoming election on December 7, with the aim of becoming the president of Ghana.
He emphasized that their votes are essential for them to receive their equitable share of national resources. Dr. Bawumia made this appeal during a ‘Bawumia Connect’ event held in Walewale, located in the North East Region, on November 22.
As a native of Walewale, Dr. Bawumia referenced a local proverb that suggests that when individuals have their own in influential positions, they will not be deprived of what they rightfully deserve. He encouraged the community to cast their votes for him exclusively.
We have just two weeks to elect a president for Ghana. Imagine the feeling when they say the President of Ghana is from your home. God has given us a great chance and that power can be beneficial, because per our constitution, whatever the President says is final and just imagine that the power is in your own house.
That is why we say, if your mother is at the funeral, you cannot be denied TZ (Tuo Zaafi). You will just be enjoying TZ with good soup every day.
