KETU NORTH CLERGY PRAISE BAWUMIA

Pastors from the Volta Region’s Ketu North Constituency have openly praised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his admirable morals, inspiring leadership, and dedication to perfection.

The comments were given on Wednesday when Dr. Bawumia visited Dzodze as part of his Volta Region tour.

Pastor Solomon Paintsil of Dzodze Assemblies of God, speaking on behalf of his fellow clergy, outlined three salient characteristics that they believed Dr. Bawumia possessed and that merited acknowledgement.

“Your Excellency, we the clergy and the entire ecclesiastical body of Ketu North and its environs have followed your work as Vice President closely, and we have made some observations,” remarked Pastor Paintsil.

The pastors commended Dr. Bawumia for his untarnished reputation, which was the first observation regarding his personal integrity. “Your disciplined lifestyle makes you stand out. Pastor Paintsil pointed out that you are one politician who cannot be connected to corruption. “You appear to be immune to corruption, and for that, we applaud you.”

The clergy’s second observation focused on Dr. Bawumia’s visionary leadership, crediting him with innovations such as the use of drones for medical deliveries in remote areas. “You are a man of vision. Because of you, Ghana can boast of facilities other countries can only dream of. You see possibilities where others don’t,” Pastor Paintsil said, referring to the Vice President’s nickname, “Mr. Digitalisation.”

Finally, the pastors lauded Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to excellence, particularly in the execution of his ideas. “Anything you attempt to do, you do with excellence. If it will be done, it must be done well,” Pastor Paintsil remarked.

Concluding their message, the clergy expressed their support for Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid, with Pastor Paintsil adding, “The presence of the clergy here should tell you that the atmosphere is already cleared. We are expecting that greater things will happen when you become the next President of Ghana.”
