LETS UTILIZE THE DIGITAL ERA TO SUPPORT FEMALE CEOs AND ENTREPRENEURS – DR. BAWUMIA

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged both public and private sector stakeholders to provide their support to female business leaders and entrepreneurs, enabling them to flourish in the era of digital transformation.

Dr. Bawumia delivered the assurance during his keynote address at the Seventh Ghana Female CEO Summit in Accra, which took place on Wednesday. The summit was centered around the theme: “Leading Ghana’s Renaissance: Women CEOs Influencing the Future of Business and Innovation.”

He emphasized the importance of women entrepreneurs embracing technological advancements to foster an inclusive environment. He assured the government’s dedication to establishing a favorable digital landscape, enabling women entrepreneurs to easily access financial resources and affordable data, thus empowering them to reach their maximum capabilities

Female entrepreneurs are uniquely positioned to lead the digital transformation by embracing technology and fostering a culture of Inclusivity to thrive in a digital economy. Women CEOs should continue to lead the way in shaping the destiny of our nation.

He highlighted several government policies that have fostered a favorable climate for female business executives to succeed, such as the implementation of the digital property address system, Ghana Card, paperless ports, mobile money interoperability payment system, and the Ghana.gov portal.
