Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed strong confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s victory in the upcoming December 7 election.
He stated that the flagbearer has toured all 275 constituencies across the country to engage with the people and is convinced that six out of ten individuals in these constituencies have felt the Vice President’s presence.
For the first time in history, a candidate has gone around every corner of this country and touched every constituency, and that is evidence of someone who wants to serve the people.
Mr. Ahiagbah is confident that Dr. Bawumia’s tour of these constituencies will earn him at least six out of ten votes in each area.
At this point, I can tell you that if you go to any constituency, out of every ten people, you will find at least six who have felt the presence of Dr Bawumia in their constituency. When you have that experience, that awareness, and that contact with him, it will inform their decision.
He made these comments during an appearance on Joy News’ AM Show on Thursday, December 5, ahead of Saturday’s elections.
Mr. Ahiagbah asserted that Ghanaians are growing tired of the main opposition, the National Democratic Congress (NDC). “Ghanaians are no longer falling for the NDC’s tricks,” he stated.
He encouraged the public to turn out and vote for the NPP on Saturday, emphasizing that the party has performed well for the people of Ghana and deserves another chance to lead the nation.
We want people to go and cast their votes. We have done the work, we have worked hard.
Mr. Ahiagbah is confident that the NPP’s final rally in Accra today will unite the country and inspire voters to support Dr. Bawumia and the NPP parliamentary candidates in the December 7 election.
