NAPO ARRIVES IN LONDON TO CELEBRATE AKWASIDAE WITH OTUMFUO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempreh, the 2024 Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), recently led a delegation from the party to the Akwasidae festival in the United Kingdom.

The festival marked the culmination of the 25th-anniversary celebrations of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. This event was a significant occasion that honored the exceptional legacy and contributions of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II over the past twenty-five years.

Dr. Prempeh, along with other party members such as Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Justin Kodua Frimpong, and Henry Nana Boakye, emphasized the NPP’s deep respect for traditional leadership and cultural heritage.

The Akwasidae festival, which celebrates the Asantehene, is a revered tradition among the Asante people, symbolizing the unity and strength of the Asante Kingdom.
