NAPO PROVIDES FOOD AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO 20 ORPHANAGES IN ASHANTI

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the vice-presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), made a substantial contribution to 20 orphanages in the Ashanti Region by donating vital food supplies and educational materials.

The donation included rice bags, cooking oil, boxes of mackerel, and cans of tomato paste. Affectionately known as “Dr. Napo,” he also provided exercise books, pencils, and pens for the children in these homes.

On behalf of Dr. Napo, Nana Timah Boakye, Deputy CEO of the Petroleum Hub, presented the items during a brief ceremony held on Tuesday, October 22, at Heroes Park within the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

This donation is a reminder that Dr Opoku Prempeh has not forsaken these children. Of the 20 orphanages benefiting today, 16 are part of the homes he has supported every three months. Dr Prempeh decided to add these four homes this time around to ensure more children feel the warmth of our care

We are thankful to Dr Napo for choosing Subin to distribute these items. It shows his commitment not only to the orphanages but also to persons with disabilities (PWDs) in our community

Evangelist Akwasi Donkor, a well-known radio preacher in Kumasi, also commended Dr. Prempeh’s efforts.

Kindness shown to children and PWDs should be a priority for all politicians. I urge others to take a cue from Dr. Opoku Prempeh and support those in need

Representatives from the twenty beneficiary institutions expressed their sincere gratitude, highlighting the positive impact of such gestures. They offered prayers for the NPP’s success in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections, with hopes that Dr. Opoku Prempeh will be able to continue his support for the children in the future.

Thank you, Dr. Napo, for your continuous kindness to our institution. It truly makes a difference in our lives

I was so happy to see all the food. Thank you for thinking of us

The donation comprised 2,000 bags of 5 kg rice, 2,040 liters of cooking oil, and 2,400 cans of mackerel. Additionally, Dr. Napo, former Minister of Education, contributed 10,000 exercise books, along with 1,000 pencils and 1,000 pens, to equip the orphanage children with essential educational tools.
