NAPO URGES ADVENTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN ELECTIONS ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7

Members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church nationwide have been urged to participate in the upcoming general election on Saturday, December 7.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh made this heartfelt appeal, emphasizing that voting is a civic duty for every eligible citizen. He noted that the election of the president and parliamentary candidates is a significant event on the national calendar, encouraging everyone to recognize its importance.

Speaking during his campaign tour in the Ashanti region, specifically in Kwamang within the Nsuta Kwamang Beposo constituency, Dr. Prempeh—also known as ‘Napo’ and the Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)—advised Adventist worshippers not to refrain from voting simply because it coincides with Saturday.

He stressed that every eligible voter should contribute to electing capable leaders to guide the country, reiterating his call for Adventists to make their voices heard on December 7.

As citizens of mother Ghana, it’s our civic responsibility to vote and elect the right people to form government and implement the right policies to move the country forward

We should be mindful of the fact that if we decide not to patronize the election, other people will go and elect people who are not our choice to lead the country

We should also not forget that if bad leaders get access to political power, their bad policies will affect us

It’s in line with this that I’m appealing passionately to our fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters in the Adventist Church to join other citizens and vote on December 7

Napo stated that the fact that voting day falls on Saturday, December 7, should not be an excuse for any citizen, including Adventists, to abstain from participating in the presidential and parliamentary elections.

He emphasized that every eligible voter should engage in the national elections to ensure they are memorable and successful.

we are all voting on December 7

Napo also reminded voters that Dr. Bawumia, the NPP presidential candidate, is deeply committed to guiding the country toward a brighter future, urging them to cast their votes for him.
