The vice-presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the upcoming 2024 presidential election, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO, has asserted that the current NPP government has constructed more roads than any previous administration in the history of Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
During a media engagement in Kumasi, Dr. Opoku Prempeh indicated that a significant portion of the funds borrowed by the government has been allocated to road construction.
In addition to road development, he highlighted various infrastructure and developmental initiatives that have been executed during their administration.
He noted that the current government has successfully established a National Identification System through the Ghana card and has built more railways than any other government in the Fourth Republic.
Furthermore, he emphasized that this administration has invested more in infrastructure within Zongo communities than any prior government in the Fourth Republic.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh reiterated that the administration led by President Akufo-Addo has outperformed all previous leaders in the nation. He elaborated on numerous accomplishments across different sectors, urging party members to unite in support of the NPP under Dr. Bawumia to achieve a decisive victory in the 2024 elections.
No administration has started 111 hospitals. No government in history of Ghana has built schools like Nana Akufo-Addo has done. No government has established universities like Nana Akufo-Addo has done.
He stated that no administration has enlisted over 200,000 doctors and nurses in the manner that Nana Akufo-Addo has accomplished.
