President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has emphasized that the New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as its flagbearer, deserves to win the forthcoming December 7, 2024 general elections.
This is attributed to the remarkable achievements the party has attained during its tenure of seven years. During the culmination of the annual Aboakyer Festival, the esteemed leader addressed a distinguished gathering of Effutu (Winneba) chiefs and people in the Central Region.
Emphasizing the significant accomplishments, he highlighted the extensive development initiatives the party undertook throughout the nation. He firmly asserted that the party’s commendable efforts warrant its continuity and support.
The party has undertaken huge development projects across the country and deserves to be maintained.
The world awaits the outcome and events leading to, during, and after the December 7 polls, as a result, all must show political maturity and carry out routine works in peace to prove to the world that Ghana is a peaceful country.
Nevertheless, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, Dr. Bawumia is set to embark on a campaign tour of the Ahafo, Bono, and Bono East Regions, marking the beginning of his second phase. This follows his triumphant completion of the initial phase, which covered the Western, Western North, and Eastern regions.
