Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and NPP flagbearer, has selected Dr. Mathew Opoku-Prempeh, the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, as his running mate.
In making his choice, Dr. Bawumia consulted with various key party stakeholders, such as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, national party officials, and the Majority Caucus of Parliament, before presenting his nominee to the National Executive Council.
