Sammi Awuku, a former National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), expressed confidence in his party’s chances of winning the 2024 polls.
He mentioned that they are not rushing to reveal the victory margin, unlike their political opponents, the National Democratic Congress(NDC), who are not specific on their victory margin.
He added that the NPP will announce a figure by October 2024 during the outdooring of Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Vice Presidential Candidate of the NPP.
We will not be like the NDC and give different figures we will win the 2024 elections. Edward Omane Boamah, Director of Elections and Information Communications Technology for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), forecasts a victory for former President John Dramani Mahama, estimating a win by 57.3%. The National NDC Chairman also projects that the party will win by 52%. You can see that within some months, they have moved from 57.3% to 52%. We will make our figures known by October.
He mockingly urged the NDC to improve their result collation process to avoid making accusations of cheating by the EC in the future. A while back, he revealed that the party is confident of winning the 2024 elections against the National Democratic Congress(NDC) through strategic planning.
He dismissed allegations of electoral manipulation by the ruling party, emphasizing that the NPP will focus on addressing issues and strategic campaigning to secure victory over their rivals in the elections.
The last time I came here, I told you that the NPP would win the elections based on strategy, and the NDC would not understand. We are proposing solutions.
The ballot in 2024 will be a choice between hope and hopelessness, between the future that the youth are dreaming of and the future you can never get, it will be a choice between a young man who is also determined that this is what I can do for my people when given the opportunity and the others.
During an appearance on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana Show, the ex-National Organiser of the NPP emphasized the party’s dedication to promoting its campaign message for the people of Ghana to evaluate and differentiate. He conveyed confidence in his party’s superior message and strategy.
NPP will not attempt or try to rig a single ballot but our deep thought-out strategy, and planning to lead to execution and also communication what we can do to the Ghanaian people.
