Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has highlighted the party’s exceptional and consistent record of fulfilling its promises to the people of Ghana.
He assured Ghanaians that his presidency would build upon this proud legacy, introducing innovative ideas and practical solutions to drive the nation’s progress further.
Dr. Bawumia made these remarks after the commissioning of the Walewale Watermelon Processing Plant on Friday, 22nd November, during his campaign tour across northern Ghana, which included stops in the Walewale and Salaga North Constituencies.
The watermelon processing facility was developed under the One District One Factory initiative, a project Dr. Bawumia had the honor of launching in December 2019.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of the new plant, noting it would generate at least 400 direct jobs and countless more across the broader value chain.
He reaffirmed that the NPP’s reputation for delivering on its promises is evident through such projects, expressing confidence that a Bawumia-led government would continue this tradition of progress.
