The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reiterated the party’s commendable history of delivering on its commitments to the people of Ghana.
He assured the public that, under his guidance, the NPP would not only uphold this tradition but also implement innovative concepts and effective strategies to promote national progress.
Dr. Bawumia expressed these sentiments during the inauguration of the Walewale Watermelon Processing Plant on Friday, November 22, as part of his campaign tour in Northern Ghana, which included engagements in the Walewale and Salaga North Constituencies.
The establishment of the facility, developed as part of the One District One Factory initiative, represents a notable milestone for the region. Dr. Bawumia initiated the construction in December 2019.
In a post on Facebook, he underscored the economic prospects of the plant, pointing out its capacity to generate more than 400 direct jobs and numerous opportunities throughout the value chain.
He reaffirmed the NPP’s dedication to meaningful projects and conveyed optimism regarding the nation’s advancement under his guidance.
