OGUAAMANHENE BESTOWS A SYMBOLIC CROWN UPON DR. BAWUMIA

The Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, was honored by the Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Dr. Kwesi Atta II, with a ceremonial chieftaincy crown.

Dr. Bawumia, who arrived in Cape Coast on Sunday evening for his Central Regional tour, paid a visit to the Oguaamanhene and his elders to seek their blessings before embarking on his campaign activities in the Central Region.

During the visit, Dr. Bawumia extended his congratulations to the Oguaamanhene on the occasion of his 25th anniversary of ascending to the throne.

Accompanied by several Ministers of State and senior campaign advisors, Dr. Bawumia expressed his respect and sought the blessings of Osabarima Dr. Kwesi Attah through this visit.

You are the Overlord of Oguaa and I can’t just enter and start my campaign activities without coming here to greet you and seek your blessings.

The Vice President addressed his intention to run for the presidency and humbly requested the backing and blessings of the Oguaamanhene and Oguaaman. He promised to maintain the strong bond he shares with the Oguaamanhene, just like a father and son.

Osabarima Dr. Kwesi Atta expressed his gratitude to Dr. Bawumia and assured him that his prayers will persist without interruption.
