STAY FOCUSED TO SECURE A RESOUNDING VICTORY – BAWUMIA URGES NPP SUPPORTERS.

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on the party’s members and supporters to remain focused to secure a decisive victory in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections on December 7, 2024.

He emphasized the importance of voting for NPP parliamentary candidates to ensure the party secures a clear majority in the next parliament.

Nkawkaw Rally
Speaking to thousands of supporters in Nkawkaw during his campaign tour last Saturday, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the significance of achieving a strong parliamentary majority. He pointed to the current 137:137 seat split in Parliament as a concern that should not be repeated.

We’ve all witnessed the challenges that come with such close numbers in Parliament, and it’s worrying. We must ensure that doesn’t happen again.

he remarked.

NPP Poised for Majority
Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence that if elections were held today, the NPP would secure a decisive majority in Parliament, based on his observations from constituency visits.

There’s no doubt about it—if the elections were today, the NPP would not just win a majority but a decisive one,

he said.

Clear Victory
After visiting over 200 constituencies, Dr. Bawumia indicated that data on the ground strongly suggests the NPP is on track for a significant parliamentary majority. However, he urged supporters to stay focused until election day.

The election is on December 7, not today. If we maintain this momentum and come together, by midnight on December 7, the NPP will have a decisive majority in Parliament,

he stated.

Yeji Visit
In related news, Pimanim Yaw Kabrese V, the Paramount Chief of Yeji in the Bono East Region, acknowledged the NPP government’s extensive development efforts, which he said had positively impacted Ghanaians over the past eight years. He expressed confidence that the electorate in the Yeji traditional area would overwhelmingly support the NPP and Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming elections.

During his courtesy call at the chief’s palace in Yeji, Dr. Bawumia reaffirmed the NPP’s commitment to development, citing achievements such as the Free SHS, Free TVET, Agenda 111, and the provision of road construction equipment and courts to every district. He also mentioned the upcoming Women’s Trade Empowerment Fund, which will provide financial support to market women, helping to boost both markets and the national economy.
