A contingent of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) members residing abroad has expressed their unwavering backing for Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s aspiration to become president in the forthcoming 2024 elections, to disrupt the recurring eight-year political pattern.
Established in 2022 by Ohemaaba Kaakyire, the organization known as the Diaspora Democratic Parliament for Dr. Bawumia aims to highlight the initiatives and leadership qualities of the NPP presidential candidate to drive Ghana towards socio-economic progress.
Abubakar Sirawaihr, the group’s secretary and country representative, stressed Dr. Bawumia’s credentials as the most suitable candidate for the presidency, pointing to his economic acumen, integrity, and trustworthiness as factors that garner their endorsement.
At DDP, our conviction is that amongst all the individuals contesting the presidency, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia stands tall, and he is the best, especially with his background as an economist. He possesses qualities like honesty, credibility, and what it takes to transform the country. These are some of the things that have inspired DDP FAN CLUB to come out as a voluntary group to support the vice president.
The team is planning to intensify their campaigns in the Ashanti Region in accordance with Airawaihr’s intentions.
By sponsoring some of our communicators to go to radio stations to sell our leader, engaging with traders at Kejetia market and going to communication centers to tell the people more about our candidate.
