President Akufo-Addo has given his full support to the candidacy of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, expressing confidence in their ability to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The National Council of the NPP officially endorsed Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as Napo, as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate on Thursday, July 4. President Akufo-Addo hailed the duo as an outstanding team following their confirmation, describing them as an excellent pairing.
He expressed confidence that they will lead the NPP to a decisive victory in the 2024 general elections.
Addressing journalists after their confirmation, President Akufo-Addo asserted that the duo represents the best choice to succeed him, highlighting their collective strengths and leadership qualities.
