A former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has stated that the criticisms directed at Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the Head Pastor of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, following his prophecy regarding the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, are unwarranted.
John Boadu asserts that the pastor has the right to declare who he believes will emerge victorious in the presidential election scheduled for December 7, as he claims to have received divine revelation. He emphasized that prophecies do not dictate electoral outcomes.
In a discussion on NEAT FM’s morning program, he remarked that “some pastors are also forecasting a victory for the NPP, thus there is no justification for attacking him” (Rev. Dr. Owusu-Bempah).
