Former Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan criticized the opposition National Democratic Congress and their leader, John Mahama, for the timing of their national campaign launch over the weekend.
The National Democratic Congress organized their campaign event on Saturday, July 27, at Tamale Jubilee Park. During the event, Mr. Mahama urged Ghanaians to support him and his party on December 7, promising honesty and accountability to the people.
Kwamena described the NDC’s campaign launch as a “panic reaction”, suggesting that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, has unsettled the opposition party and their leader, leading to a hasty launch of their campaign in the North.
He highlighted various development projects initiated by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration in the North, including improved roads, hospitals, and upgrades to the Tamale airport.
When you compare Bawumia and Mahama, you will see that Bawumia is far, far ahead of his time; think and look ahead.
