The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, has offered prayers for the Vice President and New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, seeking Allah’s blessings and success in the upcoming presidential election in December.
On Wednesday, Dr. Bawumia visited the Okaikoi Central Constituency, where he, alongside the local Member of Parliament, Patrick Boamah, paid a courtesy visit to Sheikh Sharubutu.
During the visit, Sheikh Sharubutu recited the 110th chapter of the Holy Quran while praying for Dr. Bawumia. The National Chief Imam encouraged those in attendance to recite the 110th chapter, known as “The Victory,” which emphasizes the theme of triumph.
Additionally, Sheikh Sharubutu prayed for the peace of Ghana throughout the electoral process, encompassing the period before, during, and after the elections.
Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover, the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Stephen Ntim, and former General Secretary and presidential hopeful, Kwabena Agyepong.
