The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is determined to secure a minimum of five parliamentary seats in the Oti Region during the upcoming December 7 elections, according to Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organiser of the party.
Historically, the Oti Region has been a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), with the NDC currently holding eight parliamentary seats. However, Nana Boakye is confident that the NPP can make significant progress in the region and increase its representation in Parliament.
During his visit to the Oti Region as part of his nationwide monitoring of the voter registration exercise, Nana Boakye praised the constituency executives for their efforts in mobilizing first-time voters for the registration process.
In an interview with Adom News, he attributed the growing popularity of the NPP in the region to the government’s development projects and policies that have positively impacted the lives of the people.
Nana Boakye believes that the party’s message of progress and development will resonate with the voters and help them secure the targeted five seats in the region.
Meanwhile, the NPP has been actively campaigning in the Oti Region, engaging with the people and highlighting their achievements in office.
