The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reiterated his administration’s dedication to empowering Ghanaian youth with essential skills and opportunities.
In a recent social media post, Dr. Bawumia shared his thoughts after delivering the keynote address at the passing out ceremony for 10,000 youth trained under the Youth Employment Agency’s (YEA) Skills Training program, on on August 27, 2024, held in Techiman, Bono East Region.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader effort by the NPP government to provide employable skills to the nation’s youth. He noted that the Skills Training program complements other ongoing initiatives such as the Kayayei Empowerment Programme and the training and provision of startup support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by the Ghana Enterprises Agency.

This latest effort to provide employable skills to Ghanaian youth joins other ongoing efforts such as the Kayayei Empowerment Programme and the training and provision of start up support for MSMEs by the Ghana Enterprises Agency and others.
The NPP government is determined to equip Ghanaian youth with the requisite knowledge and skills to create opportunities and businesses for all.
Indeed, it is Possible!
Dr. Bawumia concluded his message with a reaffirmation of the party’s vision, encapsulated in the slogan, “Indeed, it is Possible!” This underscores the NPP’s belief in the potential of Ghana’s youth to drive economic growth and development through skill acquisition and entrepreneurship.
