THE POLICY PROPOSALS PUT FORTH BY DR. BAWUMIA ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THE PROGRESS OF GHANA – MR. ALEX TETTEH

Mr. Alex Kwaku Tetteh, the president of Citizen Eye Ghana, has expressed his support for the digitalization initiative championed by Dr. Bawumia during his recent trip to the United States of America.

In a recent press statement, he praised Dr. Bawumia as a forward-thinking leader who possesses the insight necessary to foster development in Ghana.

Elaborating on his choice to rally the organization and its more than 29,000 members in support of the Vice President, he stated.

after reading the policy document for the NPP, NDC and the other aspirants, I must say that Dr. Bawumia has shown intellectual superiority in his submission.

I was a bit skeptical about the whole credit card system, but if you see what is going on in the USA, you will be amazed. Everything is cashless, and people can easily afford necessities with a good credit score.

He expressed high regard for the vice president and encouraged all members of Citizen Eye Ghana nationwide to cast their votes for Dr. Bawumia.

Furthermore, he elaborated on Dr. Bawumia’s initiatives for the agricultural sector, characterizing the proposed investments as innovative and transformative, while noting that the vice president is drawing inspiration from Hon. Ken Agyapong.

When you look at the poultry farms in Ghana, you can see that that sector needs massive investment and improvement. Almost everybody consumes poultry, so investing in this sector will make poultry products affordable.

He expressed concern regarding the present condition of several leading poultry farms in Ghana and called upon the government to extend financial assistance to establishments such as BunTaa Farms, the largest poultry operation in West Africa, which is owned by Professor Kwame Gyan Esq.

He also referenced additional initiatives, including Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to enhance rice production in order to decrease the volume of rice imports. In discussing import duties, he conveyed his satisfaction with the flat rate proposal put forth by Dr. Bawumia.

As the protocol officer for Vehicle and Asset Dealers Association of Ghana (VADAG), I must say that my colleagues are happy about this policy, and we are willing to support Dr. Bawumia.

He also addressed the significance of the media in fostering peace during the forthcoming elections, emphasizing the necessity for impartial reporting in the lead-up to the elections. He called upon media organizations to utilize their platforms to inform the public about the policy documents of all political parties, particularly highlighting page 19 of the NPP’s document and page 136 of the NDC’s policy document.

However, he expressed his confusion regarding the absence of a specific policy to support the media in fulfilling their responsibilities. In his concluding remarks, Mr. Alex Kwaku Tetteh encouraged all presidential candidates to disclose a list of their prospective appointees, which would assist the electorate in evaluating the competence of the candidates ahead of the elections.

He also indicated that a press conference would be forthcoming, aimed at engaging the media regarding the unified decision of the leadership of Citizen Eye Ghana to endorse Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
