The Second Lady, Hajia Samira Bawumia, has emphasized that the December 7 general election is crucial for the future and progress of Ghana, urging citizens to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who has a proven track record of delivering development.
Speaking to the chiefs and people of Bia East Constituency at Camp 15 Junction during her campaign tour of the Western North Region, Mrs. Bawumia highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s ability to bring the needed development to the country.
The NPP elected my husband to lead the party because he has what it takes to bring accelerated development and continue the good policies of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
She praised the recently launched DRIP project, noting its potential to improve roads across the country, especially in Bia East. She also underscored the benefits of the Free Senior High School initiative and other flagship programs introduced by the NPP government, which have positively impacted nearly every household in Ghana. Mrs. Bawumia urged the electorate to retain the NPP in power to ensure continued growth and development.
The Second Lady also called on the people of Bia East to vote for Mr. Nicholas Yayin Niper, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, to secure more development for the area. Mr. Niper, who is also the District Chief Executive for Bia East, encouraged the electorate to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia as the next President and support his candidacy for Member of Parliament.
Additionally, Mr. Benjamin Armah, the NPP Western North Regional Chairman, called on all party members to unite and work towards ensuring victory in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
