In a significant boost to his presidential campaign, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has received a strong endorsement from Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II, Paramount Chief of Twifo Mampong in the Central Region.
The chief’s support follows Dr. Bawumia’s five-day campaign tour in the region.
Obrempong Nuamah II commended Bawumia, stating,
You are one of the finest Vice Presidents Ghana has ever had.
He called on Ghanaians to allow the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to lead the nation, citing his impressive track record.

The chief added,
When I reflect on all the accomplishments you and this government have achieved, it is truly remarkable. Your contributions are evident everywhere. While you haven’t achieved everything, you have demonstrated that, given the chance, you can accomplish many significant things.
Bawumia’s Vision for Ghana
During his visit to the chief’s palace, Dr. Bawumia outlined his ambitious vision for transforming Ghana, focusing on “economic empowerment” by utilizing the private sector to drive growth and job creation, “infrastructure development” by improving roads, transportation systems, and key infrastructure, and “education and healthcare” by increasing access to quality education and healthcare, while embracing technology to accelerate national growth.
Foreseeing Bawumia’s Victory
Obrempong Nuamah II predicted Bawumia’s success, saying,
In the previous election, I told Nana Akufo-Addo that he would return to say ‘Thank You’ to us, and it came true. Today, I am telling you that after December 7, you will also return to express your gratitude here in this palace.
