Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi has provided insights into the advantages that Ghana will gain from Dr. Bawumia’s Digitalization agenda if he assumes the role of President.
During an interview with Wontumi Radio, he emphasized that Ghana is set to launch a groundbreaking initiative by constructing its rockets and launching them into space, marking a significant milestone in the country’s history.
If Bawumia wins the Presidency, Ghana will announce its preparedness to build rockets and make a maiden voyage into space going into his 8th year.
Dr. Bawumia has placed great emphasis on digitalization as the central concept for the transformation and advancement of the nation, should he be elected in the forthcoming December 7th elections.
During the 2024 3i Africa Summit organized by the Bank of Ghana, the NPP’s flagbearer emphasized the indispensability of digital transformation. He highlighted its significance as a requirement, a suitable framework, a versatile solution for emergencies, challenges, and needs, and a tool for attaining economic and social progress.
