Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia: Flagbearer of the NPP
Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has disclosed that Ghanaians can build a more stable and prosperous nation irrespective of their political affiliation.
Speaking at the Trinity Congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Kwashieman on Good Friday, he revealed that as a one people, Ghanaians have what it takes to become a great nation, pointing to the fact that all it takes is for the citizens to take the needed steps in pushing the country forward putting aside any political alignment.
”We can build a more stable and prosperous nation where all citizens can thrive regardless of political affiliations.
He mention further that the celebration of Easter should positively push the citizens to be conciliators in times friction and discord, stating that the celebration of Easter should prompt Ghanaians that regardless of their political and religious alignments, there is the need to peace-mongers in these trying times.
”May the spirit of Easter remind us, irrespective of political or religious affiliation, to be peacemakers in times of tension and conflict”.
Dr. Bawumia also urge the people to allow themselves to be driven by the unchanging enlightenment of Easter and understand the importance of sacrifice and reuniting as they steer through the problems of the political scenery.
”In the midst of the challenges and uncertainties that confront us, let us draw inspiration from the timeless lessons of easter. Let us reflect on the significance of sacrifice and reconciliation as we navigate the complexities of our political landscape”.
Dr. Bawumia is on course to win the presidential election in the coming elections as he has all the credentials, ideas, panaceas and policies that will solve majority of the problems facing the country. His work ethics, commitment and dedication towards serving the country and the people makes him the ideal person to lead the country into the future.
