The Municipal Chief Executive Officer of Asante Akyem Central in the Ashanti Region, Robert Yaw Kwakye, has called upon Ghanaians to assess and reaffirm their support for effective government policies.
He expressed this sentiment while speaking to the press at a campaign event held in Konongo.
The NPP government has brought good policies to benefit all, irrespective of political affiliation, from President Kufuor to Nana Addo. Although there were challenges, we must look at the good side and vote for the NPP again.
The general elections in Ghana are scheduled for December 7, 2024, during which citizens will elect both the president and members of parliament. Incumbent President Nana Akufo-Addo is ineligible for re-election as he has fulfilled his constitutional term limits.
This election will pave the way for a new leader, as the current administration prepares to transition out of power. It will represent the fifth presidential succession in Ghana since the re-establishment of democratic multiparty politics in 1992.
