Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reaffirmed the commitment of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to continue allocating essential resources for the advancement of education in the nation.

Dr. Bawumia made this statement during an address delivered on his behalf by Prof. Kingsley Nyarko, the Deputy Minister for Education responsible for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), at the commencement of the three-day Ghana Teacher Prize event currently taking place in Kumasi.
