Ghanaians have been reassured by Richard Ahiagbah, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) director of communications, that faster economic growth and better living circumstances will result from Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s election as president in 2025.
Ghana’s GDP is predicted to increase by 5.5% in 2024, almost twice the 2.9% growth rate in 2023, according to a post by Ahiagbah on X.
He stressed that Bawumia’s leadership will ensure that this recovery, which is a product of policies put in place by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is maintained and enhanced.
In order to maintain this momentum, Ahiagbah emphasized the importance of the approaching elections and urged Ghanaians to support Bawumia.
He said, “With Bawumia in the driver’s seat from January 7, 2025, this positive growth path will accelerate, bringing further economic improvements for Ghanaians.”
He emphasized in his conclusion that Dr. Bawumia is the best candidate for the future of the country since his administration will be focused on growing and repairing the economy.
