WINNEBA GUARANTEES NPP A RESOUNDING VICTORY.

Residents of Winneba, within the Effutu Constituency, have committed to supporting and voting overwhelmingly for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December 7 elections.

During an Economic Symposium organized by ABC News on Monday, September 16, 2024, attendees expressed their backing for Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, showing strong enthusiasm for ensuring his victory in the elections.

We are firmly resolved to cast our votes for Dr. Bawumia and Honourable Alexander Afenyo-Markin in large numbers. This government has outperformed the previous NDC administration. We will keep this party in power,

emphasized one young lady at the event.

Why should we vote for John Mahama when he intends to cancel Free SHS? He never supported the policy and would dismantle it if elected. We are voting for Bawumia to protect Free SHS,

stated Isaac Bondzie.

Many others praised the government for significant development projects since 2017, citing roads, harbors, hospitals, schools, and railways as examples of visible progress in the area.

The attendees also expressed appreciation for MP Alexander Afenyo-Markin, acknowledging his substantial contributions to the constituency, referring to him as

the best thing that has ever happened to us.

Additionally, some residents raised concerns, asking the Ministry of Education to print and distribute Free SHS fee bills to parents, allowing them to see the government’s financial contributions.

We urge the Education Ministry to regularly print the school fees and other charges for Free SHS beneficiaries so parents can see how much the government is investing in their children’s education. We thank President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia for Free SHS, and we will vote for Bawumia to continue this program,

stated Esi Saah.
