The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has articulated his comprehensive 70-point plan aimed at propelling Ghana’s rapid development.
This plan emphasizes the pursuit of sustainable macroeconomic stability, the establishment of a new taxation framework, the development of a digital economy to position Ghana as a digital hub, reforms in the power sector, and the optimization of benefits derived from the nation’s natural resources.
Dr. Bawumia asserted that with the appropriate resources—namely education, skills, and a mindset oriented towards possibilities—the Ghanaian populace possesses the capacity to reach unprecedented levels of achievement.
He conveyed these insights in a Facebook post on Tuesday, July 30, following his engagement with the traditional leaders and residents of the Bongo, Chiana-Paga, and Navrongo constituencies.
I continued to explain my 70-point agenda for Ghana’s accelerated development, including a focus on attaining sustainable macroeconomic stability, the introduction of a new tax system, building a digital economy and making Ghana a digital hub, power sector reform, and maximization of the benefits from natural resources.
