YENDI SERVES AS THE NPP’S FINANCIAL STRONGHOLD IN THE NORTHERN REGION – FAROUK ALIU MAHAMA

Farouk Aliu Mahama, the Member of Parliament for Yendi Constituency, has stated that the area serves as the stronghold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region.

Farouk Aliu Mahama, who won the 2020 parliamentary elections with 40,624 votes (62.1%), defeated his opponent Alhassan Abdul-Fatawu of the NDC, who garnered 24,755 votes (37.9%).

The Yendi MP received the highest number of votes in the Northern Region for the NPP during the 2020 general election. Farouk Aliu Mahama has pledged to increase the NPP’s votes in the Yendi Constituency to more than 55,000, aiming to help the party ‘break the eight’.

Come December 7 I will beat my opponent with over 55,000 votes. We have put in resources to make Yendi Constituency the World Bank of the NPP in the Northern Region. We are poised for victory and nothing can stop Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia from becoming the next president of the Republic of Ghana and Farouk Aliu Mahama as Yendi Constituency Member of Parliament.

During the NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s five-day tour of the five Northern regions, a meeting with influencers took place at the Yendi Astroturf.

The Yendi MP emphasized that the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration has made significant developments in the Yendi Constituency, surpassing any previous government in Ghana’s political history.

He highlighted the substantial improvements in roads, water, education, Astroturf, agriculture, and health, among other developmental projects in the Yendi Constituency under the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.

The new Yendi city project is progressing steadily and we are on the path of victory and development to transform the Yendi Constituency.

He urged for solidarity within the NPP in the Yendi Constituency to guarantee a united campaign effort aimed at ‘breaking the eight’ in the forthcoming December 7 elections.

In every political party, there are problems and we are finding innovative ways to reach out to all the stakeholders to find solutions to the problems in the party, and hopefully we will come together as a party and campaign seriously to break the eight.

The Member of Parliament for Yendi urged constituents to show up in large numbers on December 7th and cast their votes overwhelmingly for the NPP, in order to bring about more development projects and transformation.
