The Paramount Chief of Twifo Mampong, Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II, representing the Twifo Ati Morkwaa Constituency in the Central Region, has expressed confidence in the success of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming 2024 elections.
The chief remarked that, similar to his previous prediction regarding President Akufo-Addo’s victory, he anticipates a similar outcome for Bawumia.
In the previous election I sat here and told Nana Akufo-Addo he would come and say Thank You to us, and it came to pass. Today I am also sitting here and telling you that after December 7 you will also come and say Thank you to us in this palace.
The Paramount Chief expressed his forecast during a visit from Dr. Bawumia, who met with him and his sub-chiefs at the palace as part of his five-day campaign tour in the Central Region.
Characterizing Dr. Bawumia as one of the finest Vice Presidents and leaders in Ghana’s history, Obrempong Nuamah encouraged the citizens to allow the NPP flagbearer the opportunity to govern the country starting in 2025, asserting that “his accomplishments are evident.”
When I sit back and look at all the work you and this government have done, it is simply amazing. Your work is visible everywhere. Though you have not been able to do everything, you have shown that when given the opportunity you can do many major things.
